It’s time to let go of the things (and people) that are getting in your way. Your life will completely change when you start putting yourself first, mentally and physically.
“Change happens when you decide to do what’s right for you. My change happened when I gave up drinking and picked up a kettlebell..”
this is my story.
40 years old, over 2 years sober and yes... I only train with kettlebells.
After years in the fitness industry, transitioning to kettlebell training transformed my physique, mobility, and overall well-being and I can honestly say I feel, look, and move better than I ever have.
I spent time in powerlifting, men’s physique, being a “gym bro”…I’ve tried a lot of methodologies but this is the one I not only enjoy the most but have gotten the most benefit from, as you can see from my before and afters.
Just like with any other piece of fitness equipment you can gain muscle and strength with this big iron ball. I've embraced this versatile tool, training in various locations and even incorporating group exercises with friends.
That’s what the draw was for me, and the reason I went all in with bells and even have most of my clients training with just kettlebells.
Training is easier to get done when you enjoy what you’re doing. It doesn’t seem like a chore, but a privilege. To have the ability to move and move well, is something that everyone wants, regardless of what they may tell you.
Add in the fact that you can do it anywhere with one or two pieces of equipment and get in an insane workout in 30-45 minutes…I mean sign me up.
Look I’m 40 years old and not getting any younger. I’ve torn both biceps, broken my collarbone, and have a spondy (which inhibits most people from doing a lot) and I still move the weight I do and move better than ever.
No low back pain, and still able to squat a 44kg kettlebell on one leg. If that doesn’t tell you something I don’t know what will.
